Hot, Hot, Hot

It supposed to get up to 80 degrees here today. Yes, that is unseasonably warm. I'm not ready for that kind of weather. Harley was only half ready. She wanted in on the overalls sewing escapades, so I made her a pair today. She refuses to give up her Uggs though. She might end up wearing them all summer, if she can....at least when she's not barefoot. This girl loves boots (as do all my dolls....gee...maybe it's because mama loves boots.) I had a lot of fun creating these for her. I used a Littlefee shorts pattern that I modified and then created the top by using Harley as a sewing model. I'm really pleased with how they turned out.

  1. 80 degrees! Harley's hat and boots would serve her better here in Vermont, where it's 25 and snowing.

Love the overalls. They look cute paired with the hat and socks. I think I have a fat quarter of that same fabric in my stash. Still don't know what to make with it. I was thinking dress for LittleFee.

    1. I think a dress for LTF would be perfect. The fabric is a little young for Harley, but I think it still works. But it would definitely look great on an LTF!

    1. Get to it, lol! It's fun. Usually I don't have much time, but somehow lately, I've been finding some, so I totally understand.

    1. Thanks!! Yeah, I'm lucky until May when it's 100 degrees in the shade, hehehe. There is always an off season. Your's is probably winter and mine is definitely summer! :)
