Harley in love. Can you see the dewy eyed wonder and awe in her eyes? She is sometimes overwhelmed with her feelings and is afraid of losing Crow. It's just that feeling you get sometimes when something feels so perfect and you don't want it to get ruined or lost or broken.
Crow tells her, "I know you get scared sometimes. That this will all fall apart. But it won't. We're meant to be." He gave her a platinum heart necklace to remind her and his heart belongs to her.
He doesn't worry, but he's older, and must sure about how this is going to go. He's been in love before and had it end, but it never felt like this. Harley's young and her two previous boyfriends both broke her heart.
She has faith in Crow and believes him. She tries to keep her fear at bay.
Harley needs to learn that this is the price you pay for loving someone. I mean they could get hit by a car or something. Sometimes you do loose someone you love but it's still worth it. The grief you feel - or the fear - is a price worth paying for the joy of loving.

ReplyDeleteIt's true, but I want to protect her heart, pretty unrealistic I know. But still. Well, she has been hurt before. But Crow is the one who really had a bad break up in the past. So he tread very very carefully in the beginning.
