Well I had insomnia last night, and instead of lying in bed bemoaning the lack of sleep, I got up and played with my dolls. They are always happy to oblige me.
In the process I changed out Emma's eyes. She's got the blue ones in again. I like the contrast with her red hair better than the monochrome of the violet. I think the new girl will probably get the violet, since it will go well with her pink wig.
I love this girl so much, even though she hasn't gotten as much camera time lately as the other dolls. She's actually quite okay with it. I think she's happy having a young companion, instead of having to hang out with the big adults all the time.
I do like the blue eyes with the red hair. The violet are nice when she's a blonde. Do you have any news as to when the new girl is coming?
ReplyDeleteI ordered in January 5th, so I'm not expecting her until mid April. It's usually 12 weeks, but with the New Year celebration, she could be delayed a week or so. I probably need to start thinking of names for her. But she might be one I need to meet first, like Ellie, who so clearly told me what she wasn't named.
DeleteBlue eyes with red hair is my favorite! But let's face it, Emma could wear anything and still be utterly adorable! Not all dolls can pull this off! :o)
