Going For a Walk

Emma decided to go for a walk. The weather is really nice outside, but she still wanted to wear two sweaters and her fluffy boots. But she's the kind of girl who will wear fluffy boots in the summer, so that shouldn't be too surprising. 

From the right perspective, a backyard can look like a wilderness, full of adventure and unexpected surprises. 

Today though, everything was the usual, and Emma went to her favorite hangout, in the crotch of a mesquite tree. It's a nice place to hang out and view the world. Plus it catches tree debris, so there is a soft place to sit down, if she wants. 

I'm not up to sewing for any of the dolls yet, but I'm hoping by Monday I feel up to it.
