My Big Girl

Well, she's my biggest girl, even if she is mini size, lol. I'm feeling so happy with my bjd doll family these days. And I'm sticking to my resolution to photograph Harley more often, even though Ellie could easily steal the whole show.

It was raining here in the desert today. On and off all day long, which is a blessing here, since it doesn't come that often. Harley went out to check the mail, wearing her hat...and her sleeveless shirt. She's immune to the weather. I'm the one who always worries that my dolls will be too cold in the winter, or too hot in the summer. Gah!

Crow came by to visit her, and promptly fell asleep on her bed, after a long day at work. (Don't ask me what he does, I haven't decided yet. I waver between being a deputy for the sheriff's department, an ER nurse,  or an associate prof at the university Harley attends. He also works part time in his father's business : as an electrician, a mechanic, or a carpenter). Got any ideas? He's educated, with at least a BA if not a master's, but not a doctor. He makes a decent amount of money, but will never be rich. He's active, but also likes to read, but also really likes to play.

  2. I'm glad you are enjoying your BJD family. I don't know if it's the rain or if its Crow, but Harley seems to look happier now. (wink, wink!)

    1. Harley blushes profusely. She is definitely happier knowing Crow is staying!

  3. If we're voting, I like Crow as a sheriff's deputy, which lets him work with his brain, with a part-time stint in his dad's carpentry shop, which lets him work with his hands.

The only part of Harley's outfit that would have been apt today in my neck of the woods is her hat. It's been snowing all day. I'm sick of winter!

    1. hehehe, I am tired of winter, but not looking forward to the furnace of the summer. It's crazy because I still dream of living in Oregon, but really I don't know what I would do without that much rain. There's a happy medium, but it's in San Diego, which is way to expensive!
I like the sheriff thing because he could always transform into his wolfy self to find the scent of a trail. Of course, he couldn't do that when anyone else was around.
