As I posted on Flickr, one of my new year's doll resolutions is to post more about Harley. I haven't spent a lot of time actually interacting with her, because her MNF body intimidates me. The LTFs are so much easier to pose, and I'm a bit afraid of breaking her. I also realized that I had two MNFs, and I never got used to the first one, so I definitely wasn't about to pose the two of them, lol.

While I am chomping at the bit to get her the correct boyfriend, I also want to give her some time to be the only MSD sized doll I have. So she can revel in the singular attention, the same way Emma did. It'll give me a better opportunity to share her with all of you. :) It will also give me time to save up for another MSD, since's Crow's sale will pay for the incoming LTF; and the time to decide if I want to go with an Iplehouse JID or a different Fairyland sculpt.

Anyway, here is Harley. She's 19, a student attending university, who is far away from where she grew up for the first time. She's feeling a little lost, and also a bit excited about being on her own. She's studying creative writing and humanities, has absolutely no idea what she wants to do professionally, and works two part time jobs: one at a coffee shop in the mornings and the other babysitting in the afternoons and some evenings.
It's nice to hear more about Harley! She looks very comfortable there! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Randomfish!! I am looking forward to sharing more of her. :)
DeleteI like learning more about Harley as well. It already sounds like she is a well-rounded character. :o)
ReplyDeleteThanks Bama, I actually wrote a story about her and Crow, but it's so amateur, there's no way I'm sharing, lol. But it does mean I have a pretty good sense of who she is, now I just need to work the new girls in, since they don't really belong in the story at all, hehehe.
DeleteGlad to see Harley getting some well-deserved attention. I'm looking forward to reading more about her. It's nice when dolls develop a personality. Mine rarely get the chance to do that. (Too many dolls, too little time.)
